Torino centre-back Bremer is not ready to agree on a contract extension at his current club, and talks have not progressed despite the Granata having put an offer forward.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that progress is not being made on the Granata’s attempts to secure the 24-year-old’s future amid links to Inter and other top clubs.

Bremer is a major target for the Nerazzurri as they look to shore up their defense, especially given that departures are expected next summer in the backline.

The Brazilian is also reported to be a target of Napoli as well as Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

Torino are hoping to secure the player’s future given that his current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2023, but so far he has given no indication that he is prepared to accept their offer worth a net of €1.8 million per season to renew.

At the moment, the Granata value the defender at no less than €30 million, but they could be moved to agree on a deal for considerably less should no agreement be found with him on a renewal as his contract moves towards its end.
