Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly unhappy after midfielder Matias Vecino made remarks in which he appears to bemoan his lack of playing time at the club this season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach and the club were upset by the 30-year-old’s comments.

While he is with the Uruguayan national team, Vecino responded to a question about playing time by stating that he had not expected to play as little as he has so far this season, and even hinted at the possibility of leaving the club.

Vecino has not started regularly for the Nerazzurri this season, and he could look for a new club and regular playing time should he feel that this situation is continuing for too long.

The club were not happy to hear this from the player according to the Gazzetta, although it remains to be seen if there are any effects in the player’s relationship with his club based on these remarks.
