Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana’s agent Alberto Botines is expected to be in Milan sometime next month to discuss the player’s prospective transfer to the Nerazzurri next summer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that no exact date has been set but that the 25-year-old’s agent will visit to discuss the move before the end of the year.

Inter cannot formally agree on the terms of a deal with Onana until the end of the January transfer window, but they are widely reported to have already come close to a full agreement to secure his signature for next season.

The Cameroonian is out of contract at the end of June 2022 and the Nerazzurri aim to bring him in as a free agent when his current deal expires.

The Dutch champions still hold out a feint hope of monetizing the departure of the keeper by offloading him in January, but the agreement with Inter looks to increasingly be an inevitability.
