Edin Dzeko and Alessandro Bastoni are both expected to be fully fit in time for Inter’s Serie A clash with Napoli on Sunday.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the pair are both on track to recover from their injuries in time to be available for the massive head-to-head clash.

Bastoni had returned to Milan early from international duty with the Italian national team, with the muscle problem that had forced him off during the second half of the Milan derby having also ruled him out of any participation in the Azzurri’s World Cup qualifiers.

Dzeko, meanwhile, was unable to take the pitch for the Bosnian national team against either Finland or Ukraine thanks to the thigh strain that affected him since the derby, and also returned early.

However, both are recovering well, and there is significant optimism that both will be able to play in the match against the Partenopei.
