Inter could move for Eintrachr Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic as early as in the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 29-year-old could be brought in to replace Ivan Perisic as early as January.

Kostic has emerged as the primary target for the Nerazzurri in their search for a left-sided player, with Perisic’s current deal set to run out at the end of June 2022 and no extension agreed.

The Nerazzurri would aim to spend no more than €10 million on the Serbian wing-back, but given that his current deal expires at the end of June 2023 and given his recent change of agent from Fali Ramadani to Alessandro Lucci they feel that an agreement could be found.

The player is a target for next summer, but could also be brought in as early as January, especially if money is raised from sales.

Matias Vecino would be one of the main possibilities to be sold in January in order to fund a swoop for Kostic.
