Inter striker Edin Dzeko and defender Alessandro Bastoni are aiming to be back in full training with the rest of the squad on Thursday or Friday.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the pair are working on their recoveries with an aim to be back sometime towards the end of the week.

Dzeko returned to Milan early from international duty, having been unable to appear for the Bosnian national team in either their of their qualifiers due to the thigh injury which he picked up during the derby against AC Milan before the break.

Bastoni, meanwhile, is also back having been released from the Italian national team squad after tests showed that his muscle problem, also picked up during the derby, would rule him out of both of the Azzurri’s qualifiers.

Bothe continue to train individually, but based on the latest assessments they should be able to make their returns to full training in view of Sunday’s clash with Napoli by the end of the week.
