Italian journalist Dario Massara believes that the patch of bad form in which Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is worrying.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Massara spoke about the Argentine’s form in front of goal as the most concerning aspect of the Nerazzurri at the moment.

Martinez has endured a run of bad form since the return from the October international break, with his last goal having come against Sassuolo in the match immediately before that break.

The 24-year-old started the season off in good form and showed that he can be a highly impactful outlet in front of goal, but his last several matches have raised doubts about whether he can find the back of the net on a consistent basis.

For Massara, the Argentine can still get back to his best, but the moment he finds himself in is a concern for the entire team.

Of the issues in attack at the club he stated that “Lautaro’s decline is the most worrying. He seems to have found himself in a moment of somewhat poor form, there are periods in matches where he looks a bit lost.”

“But for a player like him,” he went on, “the spark can be enough, finding the goal needed to unlock him. Among the concerns in the team the form of Lautaro is the one that I give the most consideration.”
