Inter forward Alexis Sanchez could leave the club to join Barcelona in January, according to Italian media.

This from today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Chilean is a target for the Blaugranas and that the Nerazzurri would seek to bring in Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori as his replacement.

Sanchez is still unsettled at the Giuseppe Meazza due to his limited playing time, and he could be on his way as early as the January transfer window.

The Nerazzurri would not stand in the 32-year-old’s way given that they would save on his €7 million net wages, but finding a destination would be tricky with no clubs in Italy capable of paying his wages.

Barcelona are reported to be interested in Sanchez, who already spent several seasons at the Camp Nou, and could move for him in January.

Should Sanchez be on his way in January then the Nerazzurri’s main target to replace him would be Raspadori, possibly on loan with an obligation to buy on a permanent basis.
