Sassuolo are making plans for a future that does not have Inter target Ginaluca Scamacca at the club, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Sky Sport today, via FCInternews, Sassuolo are attempting to make a deal with Pisa for the young Italian striker Lorenzo Lucca.

Sassuolo’s main striker is currently Gianluca Scamacca but it is looking increasingly like he will be signing for Inter in the summer transfer window as the long-term replacement for Edin Dzeko.

That is why Sassuolo are starting to look elsewhere. Pisa are looking for a fee of €15 million for Lorenzo Lucca who has been one of the stand out players in Serie B this season so far.

Sassuolo are currently willing to offer €10 million so there is work to be done. Whether Sassuolo will continue or not is unknown but there is also the chance of a new contract at Pisa.
