Lautaro Martinez is in line to start the derby against AC Milan on Saturday night instead of Alexis Sanchez, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported today by Corriere dello Sport, the Argentine forward will be starting the match alongside Edin Dzeko as he is high on confidence after a successful international break.
He scored twice for Argentina in World Cup qualifiers over the past week and also returned to Italy earlier than Alexis Sanchez did.
The Chilean has also been in good form but his physical condition means that Lautaro Martinez is mostly likely to get the nod to start.
There could be an opportunity later in the game for new loan signing Felipe Caicedo to come off the bench and endear himself to the Inter fans as he is expected to be involved in the squad.
Denzel Dumfries is expected to start on the right.
