Inter could agree a new contract with wingback Ivan Perisic for around €4 million net per season plus add-ons, at a duration of two seasons.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that coach Simone Inzaghi wants the club to renew with the player, and that his agents should be in Italy next month to resolve his contract situation.

Inter have yet to definitively resolve Perisic’s situation, with the Croat’s current deal set to expire at the end of June.

A meeting was held at the beginning of February, but with the club’s focus having shifted to matters on the pitch during their downturn in form, further meetings have been postponed.

However, in the coming weeks as the season draws to a close, Perisic’s representatives should make an appearance with the club, and the parties could potentially come together on a new two-year deal to extend his stay at the club.
