Inter wingback Robin Gosens is set to make his first start for the Nerazzurri in this Friday’s Serie A clash away to Spezia.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that some rotation to the team can be expected and that the German should receive his first start since joining during the January transfer window.

Gosens has made several substitute appearances for the Nerazzurri since returning to fitness at the beginning of last month, but he has yet to play a match from the start.

However, coach Simone Inzaghi is thinking about giving some key players a rest from the start of Friday’s match, with important matches against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia and Roma in the league on the way.

Edin Dzeko could be given a rest in attack, whilst Ivan Perisic, who is also one booking away from suspension, will likely make way for Gosens in the starting eleven.
