Inter have agreed a deal in principle with Torino defender Bremer for the summer, who they will look to sign if Stefan de Vrij is sold.

This according to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi, who reported on his YouTube channel, via FCInter1908, that the Nerazzurri have already made significant progress in talks with the Brazilian.

Bremer looks to be the Nerazzurri’s number one target to strengthen their defense during the summer transfer window, with the 24-year-old’s performances this season having marked him out as one of the standout players in his position.

It remains to be seen if Inter will move for the Brazilian in the end, as they would likely only do so if de Vrij or another member of the first choice back three is sold and would also likely face significant competition.

However, as far as an agreement with the player goes, the Nerazurri are already some way along having found the agreement in principle according to Barzaghi.

“We’ll see if a significant offer comes in for de Vrij,” he said. “In that case, Inter would try to close a deal for Bremer, their number one goal, with whom there is already an agreement in principle.”
