Referee Maurizio Mariani has been appointed to be in charge of Inter’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg clash with AC Milan.

This is confirmed in an announcement by the league, as reported by Gazzetta.it, with the entire officiating crew for the match also having been officially named.

Marani will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Alessandro Costanzo and Matteo Passeri, while Rosario Abisso will fill the role of fourth official.

In the VAR booth, Paolo Mazzoleni will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch officiating team are corrected, whilst he will be assisted in his duties by Alessio Tolfo.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch and not on any refereeing controversies as they go in search of a place in the final of the Coppa Italia, with the tie finely balanced after a 0-0 draw in the first leg last month.
