Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi has suffered a thigh injury during his loan spell with Sampdoria which will keep him out of the action for at least one game, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been confirmed by the Ligurian club on their website, Stefano Sensi underwent some tests which revealed a small injury to the abductor in the right thigh.

He will have to undergo physiotherapy to treat the injury but no real estimation is made as to whether he will play any part in the remaining three games of the season or not for Sampdoria.

He joined the club on loan from Inter in the January transfer window as he wanted regular game time to show his worth to Simone Inzaghi and Italian national team boss Roberto Mancini ahead of the World Cup.

Injuries have marred his time at Inter since he joined from Sassuolo.
