Inter cannot get a deal done for Torino defender Bremer done this summer until Stefan de Vrij is sold.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Nerazzurri will not sign the 24-year-old until they find a buyer for de Vrij.

Bremer is one of the Nerazzurri’s major summer transfer targets, and there is already an agreement in principle with the Brazilian to sign ahead of next season.

However, a starting member of the back three must be sold in order to bring him in, and that will not be either Milan Skriniar or Alessandro Bastoni so the club are aiming to offload de Vrij.

The asking price for the Dutchman will be around €20-25 million, while they are also aiming to save on the wages of €7 million gross per season that he currently earns, and only then will a move to bring Bremer to the club be made.
