Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is aiming to make this season special by winning trophies in the Coppa Italia and Serie A.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the coach is determined to show that his Inter project is a winning one over the final matches of the campaign.

Inzaghi has already put his stamp on this Inter team, who have had plenty of memorable moments already this campaign including their eight-match winning run in Serie A earlier in the campaign as well as reaching the round of sixteen of the Champions League.

Victory against Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana in January gave the former Lazio coach his first piece of silverware with the Nerazzurri, but this is not enough for him.

The 46-year-old is aware of the weight of the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia for determining how successful the Nerazzurri’s season will be evaluated as having been, including how successful his own work has been.
