Inter have chosen Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani as the player who can be backup to Marcelo Brozovic next season, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are desperate to sign a player this summer that can rotate with Marcelo Brozovic at the base of midfield without causing any major disruption to the team’s performance.
Many names have been touted by Empoli’s Kristjan Asllani appears to be the player that Inter are going to pursue straight away.
A dialogue with the player has already been opened but now the club must talk with Empoli to agree on a fee. They currently value the Albanian at €15 million.
A young Inter player may be used in the deal such as Martin Satriano or Sebastiano Esposito.
The Scudetto is Inter’s priority right now but it will be Kristjan Asllani once the season is over and done with.
