Inter have set a goal of €60 million net profit for the summer transfer window, and they have resolved to keep striker Lautaro Martinez at all costs.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri have outlined their financial goals for the summer and how they intend to meet it, with Martinez the player they do not want to sacrifice.

Reports have suggested for some time that the Nerazzurri would need to finish the summer window with a significant profit from the market, and the club confirmed this internally in a meeting this afternoon where they discussed their transfer strategy.

A big name sale is likely to be necessary in order to reach this amount, but Martinez is the player who the club are determined to keep hold of, with the Argentine’s form towards the end of the campaign marking him out as a player they want to build around.
