Inter are aiming to complete the signing of midfielder Kristjan Asllani from Empoli in a meeting with the Tuscan club scheduled for this week.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, who report that the Nerazzurri will look to take big steps towards a deal for the 20-year-old and that they will offer around €10 million plus add-ons to try and convince Empoli.

A meeting is set for this week to try and move forward in negotiations for Asllani, who has long been identified as the Nerazzurri’s priority option to back up Marcelo Brozovic in the squad for next season.

The Nerazzurri’s plan is to get close to to getting the deal done already as they do not want to waste any time securing the Albanian’s signature.

Inter will not include any player going the other way in the offer that they will present to Empoli this week, and they are set to put forward around €10 million plus add-ons.

The Nerazzzurri’s plan is to invest the fees that they anticipate receiving from Monza for Stefano Sensi and Lorenzo Pirola as well as the €4 million they have already received for goalkeeper Michele Gregorio in a deal for Asllani.
