Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to undergo his medical for a move to Inter in the next week, and then sign his contract with the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to complete the free transfer of the 33-year-old pending his medical.

Inter’s medical staff have delayed Mkhitaryan’s medical until he recovers from the injury he sustained in Roma’s Conference League final against Feyenoord enough to be properly examined.

This should not take much longer, however, and the Armenian will be ready for his medical to take place some time in the next week.

Once this is done, there will be nothing more left for the Nerazzurri to make Mkhitaryan’s signing official, and the midfielder will sign a deal worth a net of €3.8 million net per season, rising to €4.5 million net per season including add-ons on a two-year contract.
