Aston Villa are very keen on signing Inter forward Alexis Sanchez this summer, and would be ready to offer him the same wages that he earns at the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Chilean newspaper La Tercera, via Minutod.com, who report that the Premier League team are prepared to put forward €175,000 net per week to convince the 33-year-old on a move.

Sanchez looks all set to leave Inter this summer as he is not in the club’s plans for next season, but where he will play his football next season remains to be seen, while the terms of his exit from the Nerazzurri must also be ironed out.

A number of clubs have already stepped forward with an interest in signing Sanchez, though his wages have been a stumbling block for many of his suitors.

This may not be a problem for Villa, who are ready to match the wages that the Chilean’s wages from the final year of his deal with Inter, something which could well facilitate his exit to return to the Premier League.
