Inter have completed the signing of Albanian international U21 midfielder Kristjan Asllani from Empoli.

Empoli released a statement on the club’s homepage confirming that the 20-year-old Albanian midfielder has been sold to Inter on a loan which will become an obligation if certain sporting conditions are met by the player.

Asllani’s wages have not been officially announced by the club, but have been widely reported across Italian media as being around €1.2 million net per season including add-ons.

The deep-lying midfielder made his Serie A debut with the Tuscan outfit last season featuring 23 times in the Italian top flight scoring one goal and being credited with one assist.

Asllani becomes the third Albanian player throughout history who has been contracted by the Nerazzurri after Sllave Llaambi and Rey Manaj.

However, he could become the second Albanian player who has ever played a competitive match for Inter, after Rey Manaj who took part in 6 matches for the club.
