Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that Inter are still working to try and sign Paulo Dybala, but that they must get three attackers’ futures sorted out before they can sign him.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Telelombardia, Biasin gave the view that the likes of Andrea Pinamonti, Alexis Sanchez, and Edin Dzeko must leave before the Nerazzurri move forward with their planned signing of Dybala.

Dybala’s move to the Nerazzurri has become very much an open question due to circumstances at the club making it tough to fit the 28-year-old into the team, but according to Biasin this does not mean that they have stopped trying to sign him.

The Argentine is a target as much as he ever has been, but actually getting a deal done for him could prove to be tricky, and will be dependent on the situations of a number of players already in the squad, with six senior forwards on the books as things stands.

“There’s no question Inter made an attempt for Dybala,” Biasin said, “they talked with his agent in broad daylight. In the meantime, Inter took advantage of the Lukaku situation and wrapped up a deal for Lukaku. This clearly slowed down the other pursuit.”

“Now, to wrap up the Dybala deal, many things must happen,” he contoinued. “The first is that Inter must sell Pinamonti. There are at least five teams keen on him but the only one who have made an offer are Monza. Why? Because everyone is waiting at this stage.”

“The second,” he continued, “is to sell Sanchez. Is this Easy? Not at all. Sanchez only wants to join a top league, and has refused all offers which have arrived from smaller leagues.”

He then said that “The third is to settle the future of one out of Dzeko or Correa. And this won’t be easy because they want to stay at Inter. And there’s another issue – at the moment, many within the club are happy with this attacking quartet.”
