Arturo Vidal has left Inter after the midfielder and club agreed a termination of his contract by mutual consent.

This is announced by the club on their official site, where they confirm that the 35-year-old is no longer a Nerazzurri player.

Vidal’s departure from Inter during the summer transfer window has been expected for some time, but until today he had not formally left the club and had remained a Nerazzurri player officially.

Vidal is expected to join Brazilian giants Flamengo in the coming days, with the talks ongoing on the move, and officially leaving Inter having been one of the last remaining obstacles to him making the switch.

Vidal joined the Nerazzurri from Barcelona during the summer of 2020, making 71 appearances and scoring four goals in all competitions, with the Chilean having won the Serie A title, the Supercoppa Italiana, and the Coppa Italia during his two seasons with the club.
