Sassuolo are increasingly interested in signing Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti as a sale of Gianluca Scamacca looks closer and closer with West Ham United and PSG interested.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, who report that the Neroverdi have come into the picture with Monza and Atalanta to sign the 23-year-old who they would see as an ideal replacement for Scamacca.
Monza have been inching closer to signing Pinamonti in recent days but are also in talks with Napoli’s Andrea Petagna who could represent an alternative target in attack for them.
Meanwhile, Atalanta remain very keen on the striker but would first have to make sales in order to fund a deal for him.
Now, Sassuolo have very much entered the chase as they prepare for life without Scamacca as West Ham push to bring him to the Premier League, and Pinamonti would be seen as an ideal candidate for a like-for-like replacement in their attack.
