Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti is now much closer to signing for Atalanta as space is being made in the squad for him, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, a chain of events is likely to end up with Inter selling Andrea Pinamonti to Atalanta this summer.

He had seemed destined for a move to Monza but they have now decided to turn their attention to Andrea Petagna instead. That puts Atalanta back into the picture but he wants assurances that he will get regular game time and they already have Duvan Zapata and Luis Muriel.

Now though, it seems that Luis Muriel could be moving to AS Roma which makes Atalanta a much more attractive proposition for Andrea Pinamonti and vice versa.

A fee will need to be agreed between Inter and Atalanta and the Nerazzurri want to get €20 million for him.
