Chelsea have made an offer of €7-8 million for young Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy, via FCInternews, the Premier League side are very serious about signing the midfielder and have now made an official approach for the Italian.
Inter do not want to lose total control of the player but it was clear in the Gleison Bremer negotiations with Torino that they are open to selling him this summer.
The Nerazzurri know that Chelsea will not want to insert a buy-back clause in the contract which is what makes this a difficult operation.
It is not ruled out that Chelsea could make a bigger bid in the current hours to make Inter forget about the buy-back clause, given it is known that Inter need to make cash from transfers during the summer transfer window.
