At least one further meeting will have to take place before Inter can come to a full agreement with Alexis Sanchez and his representatives on a termination of the Chilean’s contract.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that while everything is headed in the direction of an agreement on a contract termination after a meeting held this afternoon, it’s not quite done yet as reported earlier.

Sanchez’s representatives were at Inter’s headquarters this afternoon where they discussed the terms of a departure with severance pay for the 33-year-old.

Initial reports suggested that things were essentially done after this round of talks, but this is not yet the case.

The meeting has not resulted in a complete agreement between the parties on a departure from the club with severance pay, and so at least one more meeting will be required before the agreement is finalized.

It is nevertheless expected that with a bit more time the agreement will be found, with Sanchez widely expected to join Marseille once he leaves Inter.
