Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is set to earn €3 million per season when he moves to Marseille in the coming days, according to a report in the French media today.
As has been reported by Foot Mercato in France, the Chilean forward will still be on a very handsome salary even if it is much less than what he was earning whilst he was an Inter player.
He is now extremely close to becoming a Marseille player having agreed to terminate his contract with Inter for an agreed amount of severance pay.
The agent reached the agreement with the club and that allowed Marseille and Alexis Sanchez to talk more seriously about his future.
It is a saga that has gone on much longer than Inter would have hoped. Had it been concluded much sooner, Paulo Dybala may have joined the Nerazzurri rather than Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma side but he did not want to wait any longer.
