Inter are still expecting a new offer from Chelsea for wingback Denzel Dumfries, and they could consider accepting a bid that reaches 50 million.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are anticipating Chelsea to make another attempt for the 26-year-old even though their interest in him has cooled.

Chelsea look to have prioritized pursuing other targets over the past few days and no developments have emerged in the Premier League giants’ chase of Dumfries.

However, this does not mean that the Dutchman is off their radar, with the Blues still thinking about another bid to try and test the Nerazzurri’s resolve.

Inter firmly rejected the London club’s first bid for Dumfries, but they are not sure if the next improved offer will be as high as 50 million, an amount which could cause them to allow a sale despite a reluctance to lose hold of the Dutchman this late in the window.
