RB Leipzig are increasing then pressure to try and sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on loan for the season ahead of the likes of Inter and AC Milan.

This according to the online edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the German team are accelerating in their efforts as they look to get into pole position for the Englishman’s signature before the end of the transfer window.

Inter have made Chalobah one of their main targets to bolster their backline before the summer transfer window closes, whilst city rivals AC Milan have also stepped up their interest in signing the 23-year-old.

However, Leipzig are also very keen on Chalobah’s signature following an injury to first-choice defender Lukas Klostermann.

The German team are increasingly keen, and in the last day or so have looked to get ahead of the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri in the running to complete a deal for the Chelsea defender on loan before the summer transfer window slams shut.
