Inter are in the market for a new left wingback to challenge Federico Dimarco, and are weighing up approaches for Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi and Mitchel Bakker of Bayer Leverkusen.

According to L’Interista.it, the Nerazzurri are ready to sell Robin Gosens and bring in a new wingback to serve behind the in-form Dimarco, and have been monitoring Bakker after Leverkusen previously showed an interest in Gosens.

In addition to Dutchman Bakker, Inter are also considering the possibility of signing Rennes’ 21-year-old left-back Adrien Truffert, who has spent his entire career with the Ligue 1 club and has more than two years remaining on his contract.

Despite their interest in foreign options, the Nerazzurri are keen to swoop for Empoli starlet Parisi after his impressive performances in Serie A this season, but the Azzurri’s €25 million demand are thought to be prohibitive for Inter.

Parisi joined Empoli from Avellino in 2020 and has made 59 appearances for the Tuscan club, helping them win the Serie B title in his first season.
