Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen have both already made initial moves to sign Inter wingback Robin Gosens during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who name the duo as the two clubs to have shown the most serious interest so far in signing the German from the Nerazzurri.

A number of teams in the Bundesliga have been linked with an interest in signing Gosens, who has yet to really nail down a place for himself at Inter.

Should the former 28-year-old be on his way as early as the January window in search of more consistent playing time, a move to Germany would look to be probable.

Leverkusen had already shown an interest in signing Gosens in the summer, and have started to prepare the ground for a January move as well.

Relegation strugglers Schalke are also very keen, and according to the Gazzetta are the other club to have made initial enquires already.
