Inter are keeping an eye on young Monza-owned central defender Sheriff Kassama as a possible prospect for the future.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 18-year-old’s form for the Brianzoli’s Primavera team has marked him out as a possible target for the Nerazzurri.

Kassama joined Monza’s youth system in the summer of 2021, where he has quickly established himself and risen through the ranks.

The young Italian has become a regular in the Lombard team’s Primavera side this season, where he has started to look ready to make the step up into the senior professional game based on his standard of performance.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri have sat up and taken notice, with SportItalia reporting that they are the club with the keenest interest in signing the 18-year-old.

According to the broadcaster, Inter are considering stepping up and trying to agree a deal with Monza to bring Kassama into their own youth system.
