Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella will be fit enough to start for the Nerazzurri in Wednesday’s Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who include the 25-year-old in their predicted starting eleven for the clash, and also report that Matteo Darmian is likely to start the match ahead of Denzel Dumfries at right-wingback.

Barella was not ready to start against Hellas Verona in this weekend’s Serie A win at the San Siro, but the former Cagliari midfielder did get a run-out from the bench in the last few minutes of the match.

However, Barella’s recovery is well on track, and there is little doubt that the 25-year-old will be fit enough to play from the start in the match against the Rossoneri in midweek, according to Sky.

Sky’s complete predicted Inter starting eleven for the match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro Martinez.
