Inter striker Lautaro Martinez found a permanent way to commemorate the club’s 3-0 thrashing of AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana, by getting a tattoo to celebrate.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentina international visited one of Milan’s most prominent tattoo artists to have Wednesday’s triumph in Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh permanently etched onto him.

Martinez scored the third goal at the King Fahd Stadium as Inter were comprehensive winners, ensuring that the Nerazzurri lifted the first piece of silverware of the season.

It comes a month on from Martinez becoming a world champion after helping Argentina lift the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with the former Racing Club striker coming off the bench in the final as the Albiceleste defeated France in a penalty shootout after a 3-3 draw.

Martinez joined Inter in 2018 and has scored 86 goals in 207 appearances for the Nerazzurri, winning one Serie A title, the Coppa Italia, and the Supercoppa Italiana twice.
