Inter have made Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic their top target to replace Milan Skriniar.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Nerazzurri would be ready to move to sign the Serb either next summer or in January, but that they will have to convince La Viola on a deal.

With Skriniar looking set to depart either on a free transfer at the end of the season or even this month if Paris Saint-Germain make the right offer before the transfer window closes, the Nerazzurri are in search of a like-for-like replacement.

According to Calciomercato, the Nerazzurri are interested in Lille’s Tiago Djalo and Torino’s Perr Schuurs, but it is Milenkovic who is their main target in defense.

On the player’s end, Inter have already had a general agreement with the 25-year-old’s agent Fali Ramadani since the summer on the wages and duration for a contract.

However, the Nerazzurri will have to convince Fiorentina on a deal, with the Tuscans having held out for €30 million in the summer.
