The agent of Inter striker Alejandro Camano was at Inter headquarters today, although he was keen to stress that his visit was not in regards to the Argentine striker.
Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb outside the Nerazzurri offices, the agent explained that he was meeting with the Inter directors on a courtesy visit and that there was no news regarding Martinez.
The January transfer window remains open, and there is still speculation around possible comings and goings from Inter and every other club in European football.
Therefore, the fact that Martinez’s agent Camano was at Inter’s headquarters today would naturally arouse some curiosity as to the purpose of the agent’s visit.
According to what Camano told TMW, however, the 25-year-old had nothing to do with his visit.
Beyond that, however, the agent was vague as to why he was visiting with Inter’s directors.
“It was jut a courtesy visit,” Camano explained.
“I have several players as clients, and I just came here to talk about football.”
Asked if there is someone among his clients who Inter are interested in, Camano replied that “I won’t name any names, Piero [Ausilio, Nerazzurri Sporting Director] is aware of the transfer market and evaluating players.”
And asked if there is any news regarding Martinez, the agent said “No, none.”
“Obviously he’s happy about winning the Supercoppa, and sorry for how yesterday’s match went.”
