Premier League side Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini, either this month or during the summer.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on his homepage that the 28-year-old is a target for the English side, either as a free transfer next summer or even in the coming days before the January transfer window closes.
There is virtually no doubt that Gagliardini will not be an Inter player at the start of next season.
The former Atalanta midfielder’s current contract is set to run out at the end of June, and the player has made no secret of the fact that he is not very happy with his dwindling playing time.
What is less clear is where the 28-year-old will play after he leaves the Nerazzurri.
According to Di Marzio, Forest are the latest club to come in with a serious interest in signing Gagliardini.
The Sky transfer market expert reports that the Premier League side, who are currently in the midst of their first season back in the top flight, would be interested in signing the 28-year-old either this month or in June.
