Inter striker Edin Dzeko is set to start for the Nerazzurri in this evening’s Milan derby clash with AC Milan in Serie A.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Bosnian is set to start against the Rossoneri, whilst Romelu Lukaku will start on the bench.

Dzeko has been slightly favoured to start in attack alongside Lautaro Martinez in the derby over the past few days, although Lukaku has also been a real candidate based on his displays in training.

According to the Gazzetta, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is still inclined towards starting Dzeko, and it is the Bosnian who will lead the line for the Nerazzurri from the start against the Rossoneri.

The Gazzetta’s complete predicted starting eleven for this evening’s derby clash is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
