Monza coach Raffaele Palladino has praised midfielder Stefano Sensi after the Inter loanee returned from a serious injury.

The Italian international suffered a broken ankle in Monza’s victory over Hellas Verona in November, just months after he had made the switch to the promoted club on loan from Inter.

However, Sensi completed his comeback from the layoff in late January and is line to feature against Bologna tomorrow, with Monza coach Palladino highlighting his impact in his pre-match press conference, as reported by FCInterNews.it.

“Stefano Sensi is well, he has worked three times harder than normal to return as soon as possible. For us he is fundamental. He’s available for the Bologna game,” Palladino revealed.

Meanwhile, former Juventus and Italy midfielder Palladino spoke of coming up against Bologna coach and ex-Inter player Thiago Motta, having been teammates together at Genoa in 2008-09.

“He is confirming the skills he showed last year. Bologna come from three consecutive useful results, they are in a great moment of health and confidence.

“We have a beautiful relationship, many memories from our time at Genoa, I will be pleased to face a friend tomorrow,” he added.

Sensi joined Inter from Sassuolo on an initial loan in 2019 and made 52 appearances for the Nerazzurri in an injury-hit spell, before moving on to Monza.
