Inter striker Romelu Lukaku insists that he has fully recovered from his latest injury setback as he starts in this evening’s Serie A match against Udinese.

The Belgium international retains his place in coach Simone Inzaghi’s starting line-up for the match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, as he seeks his first league goal since the opening day of the season.

Speaking to the club’s inhouse television channel, Inter TV, before kick off, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, Lukaku insisted that he was back to his best from a physical point of view and was looking to help the Nerazzurri maintain their push for a top four finish.

“Physically I’m at the top now. I’m happy because I’ve had a few games to get fit,” the former Manchester United striker declared.

“Now I’m there, we’ve done a great job with staff, trainers and the team and now we have to continue.

“Getting back to winning ways is the most important thing,” he added.

Lukaku returned to Inter on loan from Chelsea last summer but has struggled to make an impact, scoring just two goals in all competitions and only being fit enough to make 12 appearances for the Nerazzurri.
