Inter are at risk of missing out on Club Brugges wingback Tajon Buchanan after Premier League club Leeds United made an approach for him.

As reported by British outlet TeamTalk, the Whites have made an official approach for the Canada international and he is thought to favour a move to Elland Road.

Leeds are in the market for a new right-back due to the disappointing form of Rasmus Kristensen, and are ready to build on their interest in Buchanan.

Inter director Piero Ausilio sent a member of his scouting team to Belgium to watch the 24-year-old in action during Brugges’ Champions League defeat to Benfica on Wednesday, as they sound out a replacement for Denzel Dumfries next season.

Dumfries is likely to be sold in the summer amidst interest from the Premier League, as Inter look to raise funds before the end of June.

Buchanan joined Brugges from New England Revolution in 2021 and has made 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice.
