Inter would have absolutely no intention of selling midfielder Kristjan Asllani during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giorno, via FCInter1908, who report that the 21-year-old still has the full faith of the club who consider him an important part of future plans, and would not be open to selling him.

Asllani’s relative lack of playing time this season, particularly in recent weeks, has led to some doubts about his future at Inter.

The Albanian arrived from Empoli with the expectation of becoming the regular deputy to Marcelo Brozovic in the deepest position of the Nerazzurri’s midfield, but instead it has been Hakan Calhanoglu who has emerged as the main option in that role whilst Brozovic has been out.

Nevertheless, Il Giorno report, the Nerazzurri still have no doubt about Asllani as an option for the future, and they want to keep and develop the former Empoli midfielder.
