Both of Inter midfielders Hakan Calhanoglu and Marcelo Brozovic will be starting on opposite sides of this evening’s EURO 2024 qualifying match between Turkey and Croatia.

This is confirmed by the official lineups released for the match, with the Nerazzurri duo set to go head to head to try and sign off for this international break with a victory.

Calhanoglu and Brozovic are both fixtures with their respective national teams, with the former having become the captain of the Turkish team as he inherited the armband following the retirement of Burak Yilmaz from international football last year.

Meanwhile, Brozovic has been a key player in both Croatia’s run to the World Cup final in 2018 and their semifinal appearance at the last edition of the tournament.

Calhanoglu’s Turkey beat Armenia in their first qualifying match last week, whilst Brozovic’s Croatia had to settle for a draw against Wales, who equalized in stoppage time against them.
