Inter and Juventus are both ready to join Roma in the race to sign Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 23-year-old is on the radar of both the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri in addition to the Giallorossi, and that the price tag for him would be around €25 million.

Since breaking out with Sassuolo’s first team last season, Frattesi has put in a number of eye-catching displays for the Neroverdi in Serie A.

This has led the 23-year-old to become one of Roma’s top targets in midfield for the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, according to Tuttosport, the Giallorossi are not the only club with an interest in Frattesi’s signature.

Both of Inter and Juventus are also keen to refresh their squad with young Italian talent, and the Neroverdi midfielder is a top name on both of their respective lists of targets in this regard.

Inter had been interested in signing the 23-year-old during last summer transfer window already, and it has been reported that the Nerazzurri could reignite their interest if Roma fail to sign him.

This interest could become even more concrete in the event that Inter listen to offers for Nicolo Barella, who has been reported to be a target for the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool among others.

Frattesi is reportedly seen as an ideal like-for-like replacement for the 26-year-old former Cagliari midfielder in the event that the Nerazzurri sell him in the summer.

Tuttosport report that there is indeed serious interest in signing Frattesi from Inter, whilst Juventus are also ready to rejoin the race.

The Bianconeri are also looking to rebuild their team around a new core of young Italian players, and have already seen the likes of Nicolo Fagioli and Fabio Miretti emerge in their first team this season.
