Inter have slapped a price tag of €60 million on goalkeeper Andre Onana, and have not yet held any talks for the player despite transfer links to Premier League giants.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports on the broadcaster’s online homepage that the Nerazzurri have not yet held any meetings with either Chelsea or Manchester United despite reports suggesting otherwise.

The rumour mill has been spinning recently regarding the future of Onana, with the Cameroonian having been reported to be a player that Inter could cash in on during the summer transfer window.

This has particularly concerned links with Chelsea, with it being reported that the Blues have marked the 27-year-old out as a priority target in goal and ready to offer plays plus cash for his signature.

Meanwhile, Man United have also been linked with the former Ajax keeper, potentially reuniting him with coach Erik Ten Hag, should they look to replace David De Gea this summer.

However, any interested clubs would have to convince Inter to sanction a departure for the goalkeeper who was brought in last summer as the long-term successor to Samir Handanovic, and who has shone so far this season, particularly in the Champions League.

Moreover, they would have to convince Inter to agree a deal at the right price, and according to Pedulla the Nerazzurri will not let the Cameroonian go for cheap.

He reports that “Regarding Onana, Inter know that Chelsea and Manchester United are big fans, but they haven’t met with anyone yet, and they won’t sell him for anything less than €60 million.”

Pedulla also makes clear that the Nerazzurri have little interest in any player-plus cash offers, noting that “They aren’t going to accept any offers with players going the other way, and they want to choose their own relationship (Vicario the favourite, though other clubs are also keen).”
