Inter have made their minimum asking price clear to sell goalkeeper Andre Onana during the summer transfer window, amid Chelsea and Manchester United interest.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would expect a fee of at least €50 million for the 26-year-old as a bidding war could break out between the two Premier League giants to sign him.

Even though Onana only arrived at Inter less than twelve months ago on a free transfer from Ajax, the Cameroonian has really impressed with his performances over the course of the season.

After starting to cement his place in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven during the fall, Onana’s heroics have been a key factor in the team’s deep run into the Champions League knockout rounds, whilst he is first-choice in the league ahead of Samir Handanovic.

This has attracted the interest of Chelsea who have reportedly made Onana their first-choice target to become first-choice goalkeeper next season, with neither of Kepa Arrizabalaga nor Edouard Mendy convincing.

Meanwhile, Man United are also linked, should they look to replace David De Gea.

It has been reported that the Blues have already held a meeting with Inter as they push to lay the groundwork for a signing of Onana, although SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla reports that there have not in fact been any meetings.

Pedulla reports that the Nerazzurri want no less than €60 million to get a deal done for Onana, whilst Tuttosport put the number at €50 million.

In any event, Tuttosport report, the Nerazzurri will wait to see whether a bidding war starts to emerge with both of Chelsea and United pushing to sign the Cameroonian.

Meanwhile, the newspaper report that if Inter were to sell Onana this summer, their top target to replace him would be Empoli keeper Guglielmo Vicario.
