LeoVegas currently has no active plans to replace DigitalBits as Inter Milan’s main shirt sponsor but don’t want to rule out the possibility completely either, SempreInter.com can report.

This according to LeoVegas Group Chief Marketing Officer Niklas Lindahl, who tells SempreInter.com exclusively that although there are no active plans to replace DigitalBits, the future is yet to be decided.

“Football and rumors go hand in hand. But I can only say this: at the moment we are very happy with the position we have within the club; our collaboration and we see the effects of it.

“We don’t have any active plans to replace DigitalBits at this very moment [as Inter Milan’s main shirt sponsor]. But in football you never know what the future holds.

“So, I cannot confirm or deny, I can only say we are very happy where we are right now as a partner.

“We are very happy at the moment where we stand with Inter, we have a quite massive collaboration with them, we have two partnerships, the infotainment part and the training kit part.

“So, as I said, at the moment we are very content with the position we have, and we are trying to utilize and deploy all the assets we have included in this partnership, making sure both parties get a good return on this partnership.

“When it comes to the future, my personal ambition is that we both grow: Inter grow as a club and that LeoVegas.News remains as a solid and trustworthy partner.

“If you want to understand what the vision is for other potential things with Inter, as I said right now we are very content but you never know what the future holds” Lindahl states.

Why Inter Milan Can Win The Champions League

Lindahl is also very optimistic about the Nerazzurri’s chances of winning their 4th Champions League title, underlining how good Inter’s team is as well as the attitude and mentality of the players which has impressed him.

“So, I have had the pleasure to see Inter very often this season at the San Siro, including against Porto when Inter won and when they drew against Benfica qualifying for the semifinals of the Champions League.

“I’ve seen these players train, I’ve met them in person, I’ve spoken to them. They have a great mindset, and a great will and desire to win. And we know when they are tested against the biggest teams they always deliver.

– How far do you think Inter can go in the Champions League?

“I’ve been raised like this, if you do something you do it to win. I see no reason why Inter can’t win the Champions League. We have a great team, we have strong players in the team, they are disciplined and determined.

“I think they can win the whole thing.”

How LeoVegas Partnership With Inter Milan Started

Lindahl revealed the backstory of how LeoVegas Group’s and Inter’s partnership was born, and it all started at the San Siro when the Nerazzurri hosted Roma last spring.

“I was invited to an Inter game in the spring 2022, I think it was Inter vs Roma. I got to meet Inter’s management and staff and they welcomed me with a warm heart and made me feel at home.

“They talked me through the club, their fanbase, how they work with social media, how they work with the official fan clubs and the various organizations they have around the globe.

“I immediately saw a golden and unique opportunity for a great partnership where we could serve them with something and they could help us leverage our business.”

Inter and LeoVegas currently have two active partnerships which Lindahl is very happy with branding both of these partnerships as having been big successes.

“We have two partnerships with Inter. We are both their infotainment partner, meaning we provide them with content and they provide us with content.

“That is of course of interest for everyone in the world who is interested in sports and Inter. That’s the infotainment part.

“Then we have the training kit part, where we front the training kit jersey. This gives us a better embedment with the team, which means we come closer to the Inter as LeoVegas.News, closer and more embedded into the organization.

“Meaning we can create even more exclusive content for our community which is anybody interested in sport. An example of this is the great success we had when Inter were down in Malta, for a training camp in December.

“We were the temporary training kit partner during their retreat for 4-5 days. It was a great success and we also saw the effects of us being on Inter’s shirt.

“The content that went live on their channels, showing LeoVegas.News as the training kit partner, gave us great visibility and boost on social media and search engines. There was a lot of buzz.

“One of our ambitions with this partnership is to assure that football and Inter supporters worldwide get the best content they can have on LeoVegas.News, we try actively to create good and entertaining content for our followers and readers in our news business.

“But when it comes to the joint partnership with Inter, we are here for several reasons. One of these reasons is of course because we see that Inter has a great potential as a platform.

“We can reach out with our brand, LeoVegas.News, to a very relevant audience.

“But we also think that Inter can benefit from us because in us they find a solid and stable partner, who is there side by side with them.

“We give Inter stability for the future and Inter gives us access to platforms we could have hardly accessed in Italy. So, I think it’s a win-win situation” Lindahl adds.

Javier Zanetti ‘A Role Model’ On & Off The Pitch

“I’ve always been a football or Calcio fan, but I wasn’t very good at football myself. I always selected last as a kid [laughs]. Of course, I’m Swedish so whenever Sweden plays in the World Cup or the Euro’s, I always supported them.

“But the real passion for football started when we started this journey with Inter. At that time, I really understood the heart and soul of Calcio.

“To be there at the front-line, to meet the players, the coaches, the supporting staff, the technical backroom team it was a completely new level for me. So, I must say my real passion grew thanks to Inter.

“When I meet Inter’s players I am struck by their characters. They are so humble, so driven and so professional. And so focused on winning and reaching their goals. Their mindset is so strong.

“I couldn’t pick a favorite player as football is a team sport but if I were to mention one person who has struck me both seen his track record as a player but also when I met him as a person, is Javier Zanetti.

“For me, he is a role model as a professional but also his approach as a person being so humble, so nice and a complete gentleman.

“For sure, Zanetti is one of my all-time favorite Serie A players. I met him for the first time in Riyadh, for the Supercoppa, when I was there at the game with Inter.

“I was so struck by his kindness and being such a humble person so I have great respect for him” Lindahl concludes.
